Designing and purchasing a headstone to memorialize your loved one can be a daunting and confusing task. Legacy Funeral Home is happy to assist you in the design and purchase of a headstone.  We will work with you to meet your design and financial goals.

1. DESIGN - Call one of our staff members at Legacy to make an appointment to design your monument or marker.
After you've selected a design we will take it from there.  It is helpful if you bring any photos you think you might like to use for custom art to this meeting, this will help speed up the process. Note there are 100's of stock art designs for you to use as well.

A proof and pricing will be created for your approval. Proofs using stock art will take up to 1 week and proofs using custom art take 2-4 weeks depending on how complex the custom art is (custom art goes to an artist for re-creation).

2. APPROVAL - After a proof is created, we will call you to come in and approve or make any changes. When the proof is approved a 50% minimum deposit will be required to place the order with the granite company.

3. ORDER - The proof has been approved and the deposit has been made, now it's time to order!. Legacy will place the order with the granite company. Depending on the granite you've selected production, delivery and installation is 3-5 months from final approval and deposit. Please note: Cemeteries are closed between the end of September and end of March.  This varies year to year, depending on the weather. After marker or monument is installed, Legacy will collect the remaining balance.
